I checked a couple area hotels & there are none available that do business with the disabled so no matter how much I want to...
so that about does it, no way to get my machine there & no place for me to stay if I did. it was fun while it lasted.

hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable trip. i don't need to tease myself.

Hey before you quit on the idea, let's finalize the location first. We can easily overcome the wheelchair thing. I've already got that idea fixed in my head, no problem.

You said you had a trailer, right? Not a problem getting it out there if Scott or any of the others around you are will to split gas. Don't throw in your towel yet. Plus nothing it solidified on the location yet. This is just one of the options, and I have the others checking to make sure on the accessibility for you.

Chris, you have really outdone yourself on the Moab research.. look like a fun place to ride and doesn't look like the temp will be too hot anytime during the summer. Thanks

Usually, those without A/C don't go past memorial day, but like you said it's doable all summer if needed, but not really recommended.

I do appreciate all your help don't get me wrong. Sounds like getting me & the Rhino there is the easy part. Finding a place to stay is going to be the problem & some rooms are simply out of my price range. I can admit it.
I spent all day calling motels & sending e-mails. Every accessible room in the area that I can afford is reserved, booked solid. I'm sure very few that reserved one of them are truly handicapped. Many request one simply because they want the security of being near the office. Some so they can park in front on the room so they don't have to walk 16 feet or at worse a single flight of stairs, carrying a bag or cooler full of beer? Forget it!
Believe me, the smallest simplest things we do and never think twice about can have a huge impact on this side of the rainbow.

Curley, don't make your final decision yet, because the location and date hasn't been finalized yet.

The top of page 2 I've updated the rentals post. Cliffhanger has been updated and rents RHINO's. Awesome!

Here's a link to some great Moab pics, mostly on dual sports and dirtbikes, but the pictures are great: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181806

Trying to find our way to the bottom of Gemini Bridges in Bull Canyon.

We rode all the way to the Green River on our way to The White Wash Sand Dunes

Here is where we camped just outside of the dunes. We rode around 85 or 90 miles that day before finding a camping spot.
