Official Moab UTV Rally Comments Thread...

I appreciate that Derek. Susan, I totally understand your challenge with getting there a little earlier. I think this year could have been a lot worse than it was, but we were blessed with a lot cooler temps than it should have been. It is a hard decision, because I want all of those that were there this year again next year...one big reunion...it would be so much fun. My main hesitation to doing it again in June is two fold, one because the heat can be dangerous and two because the September Rally in the Black Hills is almost too quick back to back. If I could move the Moab to early May, then keep the Black Hills one in September that would allow us to receive more exposure and prep time for the Black Hills...kind of a selfish request, but it will be for the benefit of everyone. You don't want to be around me when I'm cranky! Nevertheless, it's hard to make the decision, and nothing has been decided yet, those are just thoughts at this point. I'm open to suggestions, but I'm hoping to decide within the next couple of weeks on a final date.

Thanks Roger for the nice comments. What work I did to help Chris and any help I might have given to you all was the only thing I did to make the rally a great time for all the participants. Chris and few others made the event what it was due to a lot of hard work behind the scenes. I was happy to be their and meet all you guys and along with the work and sometime a frustration or two enjoyed the whole experience. I won't forget all you folks and hope to see you again next year in Moab if not sooner.

Hey Paul you did a great job supporting Chris and the ralley,sometimes the little things turn out to be what makes the rally work. my hat off to you and Chris. As for the date for next year Chris it seemes that there is alot of talk about schools either as a teacher or kids in school that May dosent work and the heat of june is a topic. And yes the time frame between moab and the black hiils rally. An idea might be to look at April spring break for the schools,cooler weather may be even rain (mud cool) and then about 5 mo. between rallys. Well somthing to kick around maybe. jerry and a dog named BO

April is a busy month in moab. Jeep safari kind of takes over.

Yeah, and I've heard that it's pretty common fo it to snow during the Jeep Safari. There's probably a very small window of time we can do that will work, and unfortunately we can't fit in everyone's schedule, but please understand it's not on purpose.

A memory test.
At Moab there was a vender trailer parked on the south side of the area. I looked at a set of 4 point harness, a K & N air filter for a Rhino and a set of Rhino take-off tires and wheels. Who were they? I want to buy the tires and wheels but have lost their business card.
