...by the time the next rally rolls around back to Moab, I'm sure I'd be able to pick up some slack on helping out more. Gemini Bridges run is something I could do. It's fairly easy and I wouldn't mind doing it once or twice in the same week. Some people complained about too many stops for photos. Far as I'm concerned, I could stop quite often and take photos and be quite content. Friday evening I returned to Dead Horse State Park (seventh time) and took umpteen shots. Managed to get some of the best shots I've ever taken....surprising the princess. (of course I had a few blurry ones!) It seems a waste to just pass by some of the grand sights without stopping.

I'm pretty sure that we will return to Moab at least once/twice before the next UTV rally to run Gemini Bridges and the dunes. I need to get the GPS mounted and become more familiar with using it. Also, a better radio (louder speakers) and flags (!) on our Ranger. Behind Archview there's a trail that has everything that one might encounter during a run. Steep hill climb, obstacles in a corner and climb, off camber, soft sand, and e-z bypasses. It's perfect and would be great for people new to this sport and take only an hour or two to run it. It would be great for a pre-riding clinic...!
Colored arm bands or baseball caps on the trail guides?

Had to laugh when we went pass those "mature folks" with ATV's coming back from the dunes. The old guy`s mouth was hanging wide open at the sight of our machines with some of us seniors passing by...

We had a great time teasing Kevin Donner but it was all in good fun! The run back was better then the one going out.

Probably one of the hardest parts about leading is making everyone happy. Like you, some like the casual ride and take every chance to stop and take in the vistas and get pictures. Others just want to roll through without stops.
