Adding a day is not a bad idea IMHO.... but the scheduled date............. I'll just leave that alone..lol i have already stated my opinion.. ONE weekend i don't think would be a problem though..

If they want to go bad enough they will schedule around it. 6 months to do it.

I agree.
Seems every state might have different rules and regs. for vacation leave and dates for the last day of school. Here our schools' last day is around June 10 and by then the temp in Moab will be in the mid 90's. Some individuals can't tolerate heat especially if they come from a mild climate in another state. And of course that is a decision they will have to make. As with kids in school. No matter what someone will have to give one way or another. Maybe there might be a way for those to work in the extra time during the next few months to have the time off. I don't know if your schools care enough to work with you but it might be an option.

No reason to change the location.I only voted for the first option in june because that was the earliest option given.I say put up the month of may and the first two weekends in june and let it roll again

Big T,no reason to yell.

All of your points have been well taken. I've talked over the weekend with locals from Moab(not promoters of benefactors from our rally), and it appears we'll be good to go for June 7-9th. And, based on this information and the fact that Moab has been selected as our destination, the voting for the dates has officially ended.

So, what does this mean? Here's a slight itnerary:

Arrive Wednesday June 6th
Ride Thursday June 7th
Ride Friday June 8th
Ride Saturday June 9th
Depart Sunday June 10th

Does this seem like the perfect way to do it for you guys? I will personally probably arrive the weekend before to make it a longer vacation for myself, which is why I'm wondering if everyone else might be doing something similar. Should we make the Rally a day longer starting on Wednesday, arriving on Tuesday?

Chris

That's awesome Kyle! I need to make some phone calls to the campground today to see what kind of agreement we can get setup for everyone.
