First, whatever committee needs an extra hand, I'll work with them. Second, a new section might need to be something like "Rally History," because after the first one we'll have a history to talk about...You would be surprised how unorganized it can be trying to put together pictures and videos, when if someone goes in with that in mind, it becomes a lot easier to get together...I took 63 people to a HS softball tourney in Myrtle Beach, 10 hours give/take from here, and it's a chore for sure. But we had one parent that agreed to be the base collector and most parents, players funnelled stuff to her when we got back and we were able to put together a good video/album of the entire trip. If pics and videos were sent to the same person/committee members then something real nice could probably be put out to everybody...And like our trip south that year, you would be surprised at what will go on and you would have no clue unless someone put the entire thing together. Call it "Rally History," you won't regret having that when you get your copy...

I totally agree and definitely will be put in place. I've structured the committees to accomplish the initial projects, which were locations, membership and liability. These tasks are coming to a head here shortly, so new committees will be established very shortly.

My plan is to get a laptop with a card reader, a projector, and large screen and play a slide show of the event(unedited of course) on Saturday night during or right after dinner. It will be a rough compilation of everyone's personal pictures, and if we use the right program hopefully videos as well.

From there after the Rally is over, we'll have exactly what you're talking about to put together a higher quality edited DVD of the event.

I respect people who go about things full bore, there will be pot holes, but the committees should have the tools/things in place to fix the holes, keep it up, it will have it's ups and downs...but in the end you'll find out what most people who set out to accomplish something found out...those who try often fail...those who don't fail, got the job done...keep up the good work.
