I was HIGHLY impressed with all the RidgeRunners! I'd like to thank Dan for letting me drive his. Every one of the RR people were fantastic. And for anyone thinking it's only 2 wheel drive (like I did) they went everywhere and more than all the 4X4's.
I think there will be a RR in my future

Thanks for the comments. They are good machines, albeit expensive though.
I missed seeing how the Tom Cars did (2WD also), how did they do? Also, thanks for letting us use your trailer, we apreciated it.

I'm not sure how the Tomcars did, I never rode with them.

That stinks to hear they went out of the business. Does anyone know if they're planning on selling off all their equipment?

When I talked to Dan early Feb he said he was trying to sell the equipment, jigs, and the rights.
On another note, I talked to this guy (see links) after reading the little article in this issue of UTV Off Road magazine. His shop is not that far from me. The concept is similar to RR, putting the Polaris drive train in a custom tube chasis, BUT keeping the 4WD. Going by what Marshal Motoart says, he has good support from Polaris, which Dan at Ridge Runner did not have. I believe this will make a difference. Also going by what Marshal Motoart says, he will have more than one buggy, like RedLine has now three, RR only had one. The RZR Extreme Chasis, The Animal: METAL THE CREATION AND THE DESIGNING OF "THE ANIMAL" He told me he will be at the Rally, and I am working on getting some RedLines there too.
