Jim,

We got to ride with Chris Burke from Marshall on Pritchet Canyon a few months ago. His Animal is sick to say the least. He was also running it at the King of the Hammers this past week...you should have seen his new fully custom one running the 750 Sportsman XP engine with Power Steering. Now that was sick. He's going to be at the Rally and so will Redline. I'm in touch with the Regional Sales Manager, his counterpart, and the owners about it. That's really too bad about Ridgerunner, that's for sure. I hate that for them.

Chris

On another note, I talked to this guy (see links) after reading the little article in this issue of UTV Off Road magazine. His shop is not that far from me.

The concept is similar to RR, putting the Polaris drive train in a custom tube chasis, BUT keeping the 4WD. Going by what Marshal Motoart says, he has good support from Polaris, which Dan at Ridge Runner did not have. I believe this will make a difference. Also going by what Marshal Motoart says, he will have more than one buggy, like RedLine has now three, RR only had one.

The RZR Extreme Chasis, The Animal:

METAL

THE CREATION AND THE DESIGNING OF "THE ANIMAL"

He told me he will be at the Rally, and I am working on getting some RedLines there too.
Man, that thing looks really awesome. I've wanted to build something similar for a while.

Does anyone have any contact info for the Ridgerunner folks? I was disappointed to find out they're out of business and wanted to talk to them.

Thanks!

I tried calling them after they closed and I never got a response.

Is this admiration for the Ridge Runner or for The Animal?

There is one for sale here:

ridgerunnerbuggy.myfreeforum.org :: 2007 baja 800 ridge runner for sale

RR Inc is out of business, I have a RR forum so that IF you decide to purchase a RR you will have support.

Now this can be funny or ironic, the guy selling the above cited RR is planning on buying The Animal.
