Hello everyone,
Registration is now open. Please go to: https://www.eventville.com/catalog/e...ventid=1003695 to register each person you plan to have attend. The organized trail rides have a limit on how many UTV's can register per group and will be based on registration order. So, in essence, if one fills up (i.e. 10 vehicles), you'll be assigned to the second group to leave that day for that specific trail. Nobody will be excluded, but you might not be the first group to head out for the day. Registration is as follows: Adults - $50/person Children (Under 16) - $35/child T-Shirts (Optional) - $10 Events - $5/person or UTV depending on event DVD - $20 All registrations are paid through paypal, which you can pay with a paypal account if you have one, or a debit/credit card, online check, or even a draft from your checking account. It's 100% secure, and we're not privy to your personal information, so you have nothing to worry about. Pre-registered folks will be guaranteed the catered dinner, have a t-shirt at the Rally if you ordered one, and won't be excluded from any of the events due to space restrictions. If you wait to register till you arrive, we'll do our best to accommodate everyone, but there's unfortunately no way for us to guarantee it. Lastly, if you haven't already, make sure you've completed the UTV requirements: Moab OHV Requirements...Must Read! And, if you haven't already booked your accomodations, here's a list of places nearby: 2008 Rally Details Here's a list of all the trail descriptions: http://www.centralpt.com/pageview.aspx?id=16364 If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at: Chris@utvrally.com Kyle@utvrally.com Michelle@utvrally.com Last edited by ravencr; 03-19-2008 at 11:10 PM. |

************Please Read***************
Participants provide their own four wheel drive vehicle, take care of their own food and non-alcoholic beverages for the trip. Suggested essentials, beyond plenty of water, include sun protection, and layered clothing in case of changing weather circumstances that are always a possibility during the spring in southeastern Utah. There is truly something for everyone here in Moab Utah. That is why it is referred to so often as the Mecca of 4wheeling! A few trails are nearly accessible for 2 wheel drive vehicles, while the most difficult runs require seriously modified vehicles.. Vehicles will be inspected prior to any guided runs leaving the arena. Vehicle safety equipment is extremely important. It is essential that participants stay on the designated routes (as well as everyone enjoying the backcountry near Moab Utah), and that some basic rules are followed. By signing the registration, be sure to read that you agree to these conditions. They are: RULE 1: " A vehicle must have a roll bar to participate in the Utv Rally and have seatbelts for all occupants. The roll bar must cover all occupants." RULE 2: " Vehicles must have safety equipment adequate for legal operation in Utah. We mean seat belts, and we urge everyone to use them. Having proper brakes, lights, etc. is implied in this rule and should go without saying." Rule 3: " All vehicles will be escorted to and from the trails by local Law Enforcement. Unauthorized travel not recommended." RECOMMENDATIONS: We recommend that each vehicle carry a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, tow strap, and spare tire. What about Permits? All of the trips travel across federal and Utah state lands on established roads, and even through some private land sections. Most road/trails are left over from the mining days which provided a boom to the area in the 1950s. STAY ON THE TRAIL/ROADS. The organization files the required permits according to the number of participants in each group, and pays the associated fees which are included in the cost of registration. It is critical that participants respect the land and follow the leaders staying to the designated route. This is absolutely essential for anyone visiting the backcountry in and around Moab Utah throughout the year. |
