i also would have liked a group ride on friday. the olympic events could have taken place that evening. i was open to starting earlier in the mornings so we could have possibly put in two rides per day. more vendors would have been good also. it was a great opportunity for hands on advertising and marketing. overall it was organized very well. i am extremely appreciative to all involved. i absolutely would do it all over again, exactly the way we did it, no regrets, and i can only imagine this event getting bigger and better. to those who did not show up, do yourself a huge favor, start planning for "utv rally III". (these are just opinions and not complaints).

Earlier in the morning won't be happening, I can guarantee that What most don't understand is that we have to have a vendor day. If we don't have time for the vendors to get foot traffic then we don't get the support. Without the vendors and OEM's we don't have a rally.

Then I found out it was on Thursday and I was on my own to do it. Problem was I was with a huge group. How in the world could I run off to find cards? Hope you used my extra $10 (or was it $15) for some worthwile item.

You had the option when you got back into the arena to draw your cards..

It really is hard to keep all happy, but as long as people throw out ideas we can keep making it better every year

These comments are just to help for next time. I really don't give a rats behind whether I had cards or not. I guess I assumed to much, having run many poker runs on my Harley.
The whole point of a poker run (in my mind) is to travel around to remote locations. having a winning hand is just a bonus. If we get the cards at the arena then I am not interested. At that point it is just a gambling opportunity, not for me. The travel and comradery is the part I like. So I'll make sure I ask next year before I sign up.
Again, this is all meant to be constructive, not bitching. I was just confused over the whole poker run activity. Should have ask....

I agree, Vendors are one of the reasons I went! I was hoping for many, many more. But I don't think you need a whole day. Even if the number of vendors doubled next year (please vendors, show up) there is plenty of time after the rides to walk through all of them. And if you have the rodeo event in the evening after the trail rides, folks will have another reason to mill around and visit the vendors then. If they are there from 4pm to 7 or 8pm, four days... that will more than do for me.
I shopped at every one of their booths. Only bought from 2. Not that much RZR stuff out yet.
