Just so everyone is clear, there is no drinking allowed for drivers or passengers during any organized function of the event. If you're standing around watching an event, that's fine.

This is my first trip to Moab. We are staying at the KOA.
Can we ride an unregistered rhino from the this campground?
Will we have an escort from this campground or will we have to trailer each day?
Also, I read in an earler post where some left their UTV's at the OK Coral at night. Will we be able to do this again this year?

I dont know for sure but I am guessing that you will have to trailer your ride to the grounds the rally will be held at and then we will just get escorted to the trails. I would also say that no you cant drive your unregistered utv from the KOA to the grounds.

It's highly likely we'l l have final permission to ride from the KOA to the arena without having to be street legal or have a need to even ride on the road. But, it's not confirmed yet, unfortunately. If not, then you'll just leave your UTV in the secure Arena each night and just drive over each day.

being unregistered totally or just for Utah? Pending on your states standing with Utah you may need a special permit usually available at the Maverik store in Moab or through the states website. All vehicles need to be registered for public land use.

That is true for off-road use, and all those requirements are listed on the main page of the site: http://www.utvrally.com
