Hello everyone,
We went all out on the t-shirts this year, but unfortunately due to the economy we're not getting the level of sponsorships that we have in the past. As of right now, I'm personally on the hook for thousands of dollars to put on the UTV Rally. And, to be honest, I love putting it on with Kyle and Michelle, but the reality is I really don't want to go in the hole personally for it. Me, Kyle, and Michelle love putting on the event and seeing all of you have an absolute blast enjoying a great event, epic trails, and building great friendships. But when it effects my personal finances in a negative fashion, it makes it really hard to love it. Basically, last minute, we've lost some substantial past sponsors that we were counting on that really puts us in a bind for the dinner and the t-shirts, both of which are roughly $8K in expenses for me. So, in a last ditch effort, I would love for everyone to order some more shirts & DVD's to help me re-coup this money, so we can afford to still do the dinner and have enough shirts, etc for everyone! We want to, and plan to put on a world class event for everyone, but I really need your help this year. I hate to even ask, but I'm assured(and I've seen their shirts personally) that these shirts are going to be awesome...way better than previous year's artwork. Here's the front of the shirt: ![]() Here's the back of the shirt: ![]() For now, until I figure out an automated way to do it, please just email me at chris@utvrally.com how many you'd like of each size. Also, if you didn't order a DVD, I'd love for you to do that too! Both items are $20, which please understand there's some profit in here to help compensate for our loss in revenue to keep us from having to cancel the dinner this year, among other expenses like banners, signage, flyers, etc. We really want this to be the best event you've ever been to, and right now every little bit is going to help us get to break-even hopefully. Thanks in advance for your continued support and trust in us to put on an event of a lifetime for you. Chris, Kyle, and Michelle Last edited by ravencr; 09-08-2009 at 10:33 PM. |

I'm very sorry to hear about this rough situation for you Chris. If we all give a little more I think it will make a big difference.
I've emailed you Chris for additional items and a T-Shirt for my wife that she didn't even know that she wanted yet... If you need further help I'm sure we can work as a group / team and get through this......

Sorry to hear how you are being hit by loosing sponsors. I would like to help where I can. I will send you an email outlining a couple of things we can do. I wish I could do more but if we all help each other out we will make it through.
Good luck |

Everyone,
It's reasons like these that make me, Kyle, and Michelle have a hard time not loving putting on this event. It's times like this that just goes to prove that all of you, even those we haven't met yet till this year are quality friends or soon to be friends. I've been inundated with tons of emails of folks ordering more shirts and DVDs, and I can't say enough at how much this means to me, Kyle, and Michelle. Sometimes, I'll be honest, that I get frustrated with companies in this business that are obviously in it to make money(which they should be), but forget about the people that help them stay in business. I'm not saying everyone feels this way, but at times like us human beings do, we like to dwell on the negative frustrating aspects of doing this event. Heck, look at the news these days...there's more negative crap on there that it's no wonder it's so much easier to dwell on the negative side of things. But, when it's all said and done, the reality is that regardless of who bails on us in the end with their financial support, me, Kyle and Michelle are doing our best to put on the same great event we have for the past two years. And, regardless if I end up in the hole personally or not, please understand that we're committed to this event more-so than we ever have been. Its you guys that we put this event on for, not the money. Originally, I came up with the idea as a way to get a bunch of people that love to ride together and ride the most epic trails they've ever ridden combined with developing new and existing friendships along the way. And, I have to say, I couldn't have done it without Kyle and Michelle's help. We're a team dedicated to your enjoyment, and we honestly get a big kick out of hearing about your day's adventures, how people pushed their limits way past their comfort levels, and how when they leave the event and their new friends, they'll hopefully never forget it. I can't say enough, and I think I can speak for Kyle and Michelle here too, how much we appreciate the genuine concern and caring individuals that you all are. If we keep moving in this direction, I'm looking forward to putting on the most memorable UTV event you've ever been to. And, next year, I think we're going to mix it up even more, so stay tuned...we may just let everyone know ahead of time...or maybe not! There's no tellin'! Chris, Kyle, & Michelle P.S. If I haven't responded to your trail selections or t-shirt orders, please understand I'm still trying to sort through literally hundreds of emails. I'll send everyone, once organized a confirmation email with their trail selections. In fact, if might even be easier if I post it on the forum so everyone can confirm their selections. |

Whatever you think is best Chris. And yes Chris,Michelle and Kyle work their asses off so that we as a group can have one great time. This will be my third year straight along with my son. We've had the time of our lifes every year and met really great people. Bud your one of the greats along with Vic from Vic's light kits and many many others.
Oh ya, I'm bringing a bottle of Malibu Rum with me, I wonder who that's for.......
