KOA Moab, Rude ,Nasty UTV Haters
Do not go to this dump and give your money to these nasty people..We were here for the utv rally. We made the reservations over the phone and these Off road haters were happy to take my 620.00 for 6 day's and proceed to show their hate by hassling us every single day..we never exceeded the 5 mph speed limit,,,this place is noisey with all the trucks going by all night long...yet when we drive back from having dinner the owner Bob Ott comes out yelling we cant drive in after 9:30...it was 9:45...This guy is either a drunk or just hates his life,,stay away from moab KOA.. We are leaving the rally early, these horrible people at the KOA ruined the whole trip for us and others.. Chris, hopefully next year they will have new owners..it is for sale..
The staff would stop us and proceed to yell at us for driving on the same trail you guy's cut for the rally..

Bob came out and yelled at my wife about coming back late, also. She drove to the Shell station to get batteries and came back a little before 10. She wasn't going fast either and he still yelled at her because she was past the "curfew".
I have stayed at this KOA numerous times, and they seem to have zero flexibility. Unfortunately, it is one of the nicer campgrounds in Moab and if you need a space for a 40 foot motorhome and trailer, they are your only choice. Plus that, the spaces that accommodate that length, are in the back and there is no road noise. I did like the ease of access to the arena from the KOA, but it would be nice not to have to deal with Bob and Lila Ott ever again. Maybe it will sell before next year.

Same here.... Yelled at for driving from one camp to another slowly after the ride, accused of cruising the campground. Again for not having the dog on a leash between the office and the highway.
The BigAss would sit in the dark with a flashlight in hand and wait near his place for someone to raise hell with. I will not be back next year as long as he owns it. Period!

I could not believe the treatment that Bob, the owner, dished out either. My brother and I were located about a half block away from each other. After a ride, we simply rode from my trailer to his and was cut off by the Bob's golf cart and yelled at for riding between each trailer. This only happened once and we always stayed at 5 mph or less.
We always try to be respectful of others...because of this, this situation really dumbfounded me. I heard of at least 4 others getting yelled at by him also. They will never get my business again as long as this Bob owns the KOA. I would recommend that we all boycott the Moab KOA. They are certainly not UTV friendly. Sounds like they've been having a few problems. OK Rv park
Once again we had a nice stay at the OK rv park. The people there are real nice.
