Default We had a great time!

Bob and I again had a great time. Most of you know we broke a back axle on cilff hanger the first day of the rally. We called around and found one and had it shipped in. However, they sent us the WRONG one.. So on the last day Bob roded with Jim oung and I went to the movies.
As of today the back axle is on order, we kept the other axle since it was for the front. next year we will have tie rods, axles and few other assorted parts. and the hard rides will be at the end of the rally not the begining!!
Happy Trails to all and we will see you next year!!!!

This must be you then!

I was in the lime green Teryx taking pictures. I was really bummed when I heard that axle snap. Tough break for sure.

yes it was, but it really wasn't the machine's fault. We purchase after market shocks last fall and we had the pre load set wrong. So we were two inches lower and I'm sure we stressed the machine and then we discover the lock differental ( sorry about the spelling) wasn't working. Last year, the machine did awsome. of course we didn't do cliff hanger either. We did steel bender, hell's revenge and porpine.

We notice that there is another rally in mary'sville Utah in august we are going to look at the calendar and see if we can go to that one.

I think my dad is going to the rally in august. We are kicking around the possibilities of going.

It would be fun to hook up with you and Michelle in Marysvale, Kyle. Sounds like a little bit less intense riding, though. It would be great to see your dad again, Kyle. He is a kick!

Jon, you did a great job on the photos. We will probably buy a couple from you shortly.

Echoing Terry's comments, Kyle, Michelle, and Chris deserve major kudos for another spectacular event. You guys are first class all the way! I truly admire the effort you put into this so all of us can have such a great time.

Furthermore, I would like to voice my support to Chris for calling out the jerks that broke the rules. If you want to drink on the trail, that is your business. But you won't do it with the Rally. Likewise, it is mighty selfish of some people to drive off the permitted trails. I guess those of you that do that have no respect for the guys working with the BLM to get permits for the event, and also none for the magnificent landscape we get to ride in Moab. Stay home next year if you don't want to follow the rules 99% of the Rally attendees abide by. Your selfish actions could result in all of us losing a truly wonderful opportunity.

Thanks again to Michelle, Kyle, and Chris, and all the great sponsors/vendors. This event couldn't happen without all of you!

Bob

Thanks Bob! We enjoy all the hard work so that folks can come and ride in Moab. Meeting new people and learning about them is what I enjoy from the rally. I am lousy with all the names but I remember the faces

We spoke with the individuals regarding the drinking. Everything has been taken care of, apologies have been made and we know for sure that we won't have these issues again.

I want to thank all the vendors and sponsors. Without the backing of these folks we wouldn't be able to put on an event for you guys and gals. I just ask that when you are shopping for parts you check out those that support this great event!!

I second what Kyle said. Bob and Terry, it was nice spending what little time we had together chatting at the event. I won't be at the one in August, but I'll be back in May next year in Moab.

Glad to hear you will be back next year, Chris. The road trip sounds like it will be a tad longer for you, though!

Yes, it was good to have our brief visits. One of these days a bunch of us will ride when one or more aren't quite so busy!

I also want to extend a personal thanks to Michelle, Kyle and Chris for their support of the rally. You all are awesome! This was the first time I've attended (Just got my RZR S in January). Anyhow, my family and I had a super great time...everyone was awesome. It was also great to meet many I only knew via the RZR and SideXSide forums.

I also want to recognize all of the vendors for your presence and support. You did your job well and got some of my $$, but I got some great product and advice from you for it.

The local law enforcement also deserves a bunch of thanks for putting up with us all. As stated earlier, 99% of us obided by the rules established for us...I hope the other 1% had it emphasized to them how foolish they looked and if they cannot live with the rules they need to stay home next time. Anyhow, I thought the police there were very friendly and helpful.

Finally, thanks to the many photographers that were there. I have found my picture on the web a few times doing things that have made my wife cringe a bit. No regrets...it was a blast!!

My hat goes off to everyone that made this a special event. The memories are driving me nuts as I really want to go back immediately to experience everything over again.
