How many UTV's do you think will be in attendance?

I'm not sure. I know that this year we have a couple ATV clubs from Utah and Nevada attending the event, but I don't know how many UTV's will be there. We have room left for any UTV's that sign up and I would be glad to tell them about the trails, give ideas on places to stay or camp, or help put together a group plan for UTV's that wanted to attend as a group.
It is a great event and it covers a variety of different types of terrain depending on the trails you choose to ride. If people think Moab is fun ridding they will love San Juan County. There are quit a few of the Moab trails that are in San Juan County, but from Hook and Ladder south there are a lot of trails that most people don't know about. Our safari covers 18 of these trails and with our new permits we hope to increase the number of trails to at least 25. This will allow us to add more difficult trails for those that really like a challenge and other great scenery trails. Last edited by OTBPMAPS; 08-10-2008 at 11:13 AM. |

When you show up at the check in location on Wednesday you receive your packet that contains all the trail information for the trails you signed up for like meeting locations, etc. Also in your packet is a patch for each of the three trails and a main patch that represents the year. You also receive your tickets to the final banquet on Saturday Night and the itinerary for any evening socials that we may have such as a free night ride, Ice cream social, etc. These are open to everyone but there are number limitations on the night ride. At the banquet all registered participants are entered into our safari drawing for prizes. Last year we had over $2000.00 in prizes that we gave away. This year its looking even better.
Now you will get a packet of information in the mail when you sign up that should have hotel, restaurant, and other local business information in it along with trail information. |
