Shay Ridge ATV Trail

These pictures are of a ride we just did on the Shay Ridge ATV Trail just outside of Monticello, Utah. This trail passed through gamble oak, aspen, and alpine forests. From Monticello we drove our ATV's right to the trailhead past Foy lake and to Shay Ridge. Since the majority of this trail is around 10000 ft there are a lot of breath taking views throughout the ride.

Is this just an atv trail or can we ride our utv's on them?

We have had UTV's come to the event in the past and I checked with the person over registrations and he said we have a couple this year signed up. I believe that UTV's would be fine on most of the trails. There are a couple trails that I'm familiar with that possibly might be really tight in a couple of spots. I could put you in contact with Ben Black at Blackhawk Tours and he would know for sure what trails would give you a problem if any.
